Architectural Digest - Apartment 48
Celebrated AD100 designer Rayman Boozer, founder of Apartment 48, has transformed a historic 1901-built Upper East Side brownstone into a stunning, colour-rich sanctuary. Boozer’s signature aesthetic—bold colour palettes, layered textures, and a perfect balance of modern and vintage elements—infuses every corner of the space with personality and warmth.
One of the most captivating areas is the den, where a custom fireplace, banquette seating, and bespoke bookcases create an intimate yet sophisticated ambiance. The design seamlessly incorporates the client’s favourite purple tones alongside Boozer’s preferred blue hues, resulting in a rich, inviting atmosphere. Floor-to-ceiling curtains by Kerrie Brown, add a luxurious touch, while antique furnishings and reupholstered vintage chairs bring a sense of history and depth to the contemporary design.
